Tools I Use to Run My Creator Business

This is my personal Creator Toolbox: a minimal, streamlined toolkit I rely on daily. No bloat, no fluff, no “100 tools you’ll never use.” Just the essentials that help me create faster, stay organized, and run everything smoothly behind the scenes.

Please note, some might not be beginner friendly, I’ve been running online businesses for years.

Wise

Formerly “TransferWise”

Wise (formerly TransferWise) is a fintech company/online bank platform that me and a lot of creators I know use, because it’s stable, safe and modern.

I’ve kept all our company accounts on Wise for many years without any problems, ever. If you make and receive international payments to and from any country you can think of, this is for you.

You can have accounts in every currency you can think of, together with real bank accounts for each of them. It’s free, no subscription, just small commissions on transfers.

Revolut

For my personal banking, I’ve always used Revolut since 2018. It probably has the most amazing Internet banking app I’ve ever seen in terms of UI/UX.

The only reasons I do not have Revolut for my business accounts too is because:

  • Revolut Business wasn’t available at the time, so I can’t be bothered to migrate now
  • and I prefer having an actual USD bank account in the United States (from Wise)

Design

My go-to design tool on Mac. It’s lightweight but powerful. Perfect for thumbnails, social media graphics, and photo edits. Think of it as Apple’s answer to Photoshop, but with a one-time price. Hard to beat that.

It uses the Cloudflare Enterprise CDN under the hood, so if you have a global audience and you care about your website loading fast all over the world, their TTFB (Time to First Byte) is literally unbeatable. Expensive, but worth it.

If you’re just starting out or what an affordable solution, SiteGround does it all. Stable, easy to use, great support. They usually have great offers for new customers where you can get a full year for like $30-$40. Plus they include daily backups, unlimited email accounts and other benefits. If you have to go with a shared hosting platform, this is the one.

Clean, fast, and native to Mac. It’s powerful enough for pro editing, but simple enough for fast social content. And unlike Adobe, you pay once and own it for life. I see it as the iPhone of video editing.

MotionVFX
